Pickleball courts installed at Lions Park

The new pickleball courts and tennis court are now ready for action at Lions Park. Sport Construction Midwest was hard at work the second week of September installing the courts, using flooring material from Sport Court that matches the recently renovated basketball court at the park.

Bryan Jansen, owner of Sport Construction Midwest, says they came out a few weeks ago to pull weeds and remove black tar. Then they came back a couple of weeks ago to install concrete footings and fill cracks on the court. He says they hand mixed about 40 bags of concrete on a hot and miserable day.
