The North Iowa baseball team started off on shaky ground last week but bounced back for their first win of the season on Friday.
The Bison traveled to Forest City on Monday, June 2, to take on the Indians, who lead the Top of Iowa Conference-West. It was a brutal first inning for the Bison, as the Indians piled on 17 runs while North Iowa cycled through pitchers. The Indians added two runs in the second and five in the third, while the Bison finally scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning before their game ended early in a 24-2 defeat.
