Basketball teams each drop three games in the last week

The North Iowa varsity basketball teams both had a tough week on the court, as they dropped three games apiece. The teams opened the week by hosting Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Tuesday, Jan. 14 to begin the second half of their conference schedule.

The Lady Bison got off to a slow start but made up a lot of ground against the Cardinals. The girls trailed 12-3 after the first quarter but cut their deficit to 36-32 by the end of the third quarter. The Cardinals were able to hold onto their advantage in the fourth, however, resulting in a 45-38 loss for North Iowa.
