Sara Nicole Mazza, 50, entered eternal life on Saturday, September 13, 2025 surrounded by faith, love and grace of her family. A celebration of Sara's life was held on Thursday, September 25 at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edinbrook Pkwy, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443 at 11 a.m. with visitation being at 10 a.m.

Born in Mankato, Minnesota on May 22, 1975, Sara lived a life marked by hugs, handshakes and kisses for everyone she knew. No one was a stranger to Sara, everyone was her friend. Her heart and light filled the room.

Sara is survived by her parents, Kathy and David Mazza; a brother, Chris, and his wife, Julie; nephews, Keegan and Leo Mazza; aunt and uncle, Betsy and Randy Goetz; cousins, Jami and Joey Goetz; Leah Jesser (Jami's fiancee); cousin, Jennifer Minisci; Mary Edwards, for all her support and caring; aunt and uncle, Lynne and Bill Tice; cousins, William and Christopher Tice; aunt and uncle Kevin and Doreen Mazza; and cousins, Christina Karl and Aaron Mazza. All of these loved ones will carry forward Sara's legacy of love and sweetness, which earned her the nickname "lollipop" from her dad, David. Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Edith Teig and Joseph Mazza and Marjorie Steeb; and uncle, Mike Teig.
