The Buffalo Center Fire Department put on another successful Pancake Day fundraiser on Saturday, Mar. 30, with the funds raised at the breakfast going toward the 4th of July fireworks display this summer. Buffalo Center Fire Chief Duane Cooper says they served close to 500 plates and raised approximately $5,000 for the fireworks fund. The firemen served both plain and chocolate chip pancakes, while the Bison FFA Chapter served sausage, biscuits & gravy, and drinks. Firemen manning the grills included Andy Lavrenz, Jamie Homsey, Nick Hartman, and Alex Langfald.
