Jack Wollam

Jack Donald Wollam, resident of Cooperstown, North Dakota, passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born on June 13, 1948 to Floyd and Kathryn Wollam in Spencer. After graduating from Spencer High School, he went on to study at the University of Northern Iowa, where he met and married his former wife Diana.

Jack taught high school and coached basketball in Rake. He later moved to Lakota, where he raised his family and served as the local insurance agent. In 1984, Jack relocated his family to Seminole, Florida to be closer to his parents.

In 2005, Jack moved to Cooperstown, ND where he met his partner Darlene Reinhart. He opened the Prairie Hill Inn, where he hosted hunting groups and shared his passion for duck hunting.

Jack is survived by Darlene Reinhart; his daughter, Allison Zimmerman (husband Brian), his son, Joseph Wollam, their mother, Diana Wollam; his grandchildren Eliana, Leora, and Brielle Zimmerman; and his sister, Janet Baldwin.
