COVID-19 numbers for Winnebago and Kossuth counties

Winnebago County reported an additional 30 cases of COVID-19 between Tuesday, Jan. 12 and Monday, Jan. 18, for a total of 1,187. The number of active cases is 133, with 11% of tests coming back positive during the previous seven days. No additional deaths were reported due to the illness last week, as the total stands at 29.

In Kossuth County, 75 new cases were reported over the past week, for a total of 1,719. There are 230 active cases in the county, and 19% of tests came back positive over the past seven days. Eight more deaths have been reported in Kossuth County related to COVID-19, for a total of 43.
