COVID-19 numbers for January 19-25

Winnebago County saw an additional 36 cases of COVID-19 between Tuesday, Jan. 19 and Monday, Jan. 25, as the total number of cases reached 1,223. The number of active cases grew by about two dozen over the prior week, with 156 active cases in the county on Monday. Ten percent of tests came back positive over the prior seven days, and the 14-day positivity rate was 13%. No additional deaths have been reported in the county due to the illness.

Kossuth County had reports of an additional 87 new cases of COVID-19 between January 19-25, bringing the total to 1,806. The number of active cases rose to 291, with 20 percent of tests coming back positive over the prior seven days and 23% of tests positive over the prior 14 days. One additional death was reported on Kossuth County, bringing the total to 44.
