The Lady Bison softball team started their week off on a high note last Monday, June 9, with a comeback against Bishop Garrigan. The Golden Bears took an early lead with a seven-run second inning, but North Iowa was unfazed, as the Lady Bison put two runs on the board in the bottom of the second and built up a steady comeback to take over the lead by the fourth inning.
North Iowa led 13-9 by the end of the fifth inning, but the Golden Bears kept things interesting, as the Lady Bison fought to maintain a one-run advantage and win the game, 14-13.
