New additions for Rake walking path

Two families are helping the City of Rake add to the new walking path at the former site of the Rake High School. Members of the Friest and Skogen families recently donated two benches, which are located under the newly built pergola at the walking path/park on the east side of town.

One bench was donated in memory of A.M. Friest, Jr., and his wife, Arlene, by their children: Darrell, Ed, Kelly, and Pat. The other bench was donated in memory of Don Skogen by his wife, Carolyn, and daughters: Julie, Nancy, and Tammy.
