The North Iowa softball season is heating up, with the Lady Bison winning five of their last six games – including a four-game winning streak. North Iowa traveled to Garner for their first away game of the year on Thursday, May 25, where they defeated the Cardinals, 8-3.
Jaycee Plath had four hits for North Iowa, including two doubles. Ava Meinders and Ashlyn Bechler each had three hits, followed by Eden Greensky and Sophia Hagen with two apiece. Brooklyn Price had three RBIs, followed by Bechler with two.
