Lady Bison drop four games last week

The North Iowa varsity girls came up emptyhanded on the basketball court last week, as they lost four games to conference opponents.

The Lady Bison opened their week at Belmond on Monday, Jan. 9, where they went into overtime in a 44-39 loss against the Broncos.

“That was a tough loss. The girls put out a lot of effort that game, and I think just mentally, physically, it was a draining contest,” said Head Coach Rick Meyer. He said it was a back-and-forth game with runs by both sides, but the Lady Bison couldn’t score in overtime, where they had just one point.
