North Iowa Betterment and Farmers Trust & Savings Bank hosted their annual Free Throw Contest for kids and adults on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the school. Medals and ribbons were awarded to 24 winners across seven age divisions. They include:
• 8 & under boys: 1st-Hudson Hanna, 2nd-Levi Berggren, 3rd-Oakley Haisman. Girls: 1st-Mya Ostermann.
• 9-year-old boys: 1st-Wesley Kenny. Girls: 1st-Bailey Newton, 2nd-Bryn Engelbarts, 3rd-Fiona Potter tied with 3rd-Alaina Hagedorn.
• 10-year-old boys: 1st-Owyn Ostermann. Girls: 1st-Amelia Price.
