The Winnebago County Fair will crown a new Queen and a new Little Miss for the first time in two years, on the opening day of the fair this Thursday, July 15.
The Little Miss pageant is up first, taking place at 6 p.m. at the new shelter house at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds. The contestants will meet at 4:45 that afternoon at the 4-H building.
The fair queen coronation will follow the Little Miss pageant Thursday at the new shelter house. The ceremony will be rather straightforward this year, as only one candidate applied to be fair queen.
