The North Iowa Bison hosted the always competitive Golden Bears of Bishop Garrigan to open their week on the ball diamond last Monday, June 9. The Bison kept things close throughout the first half but couldn’t keep up at the plate or on the bases, as the Golden Bears totaled 12 hits over the Bison’s six. Ten stolen bases helped to propel Bishop Garrigan to a 9-2 win.
Archer Winter and Jamison Kramersmeier led North Iowa’s offense with two hits apiece, and Winter recorded two RBIs. Brayden Gray and Tate Engelbarts each had on hit against the Golden Bears.
