New owners making upgrades at Main Street Market

Shoppers can see improvements taking shape at Main Street Market, where new flooring has been installed over the fourth week of January. The grocery store got new owners last October, who are looking to give the store a bit of a refresh before holding a grand opening in the spring.

Husband and wife Darin and Jackie Eckels of Britt, along with their son, Dylan, purchased the store in October from the Murra family of Buffalo Center. The Eckelses also own the Britt Food Center in Britt, and they decided to expand their operation with the purchase of a second grocery store.
