The Buffalo Center Swimming Pool needs some work done before it opens this summer, and the City Council continues to look for an affordable option.
Pool Manager Sarah Paulson reports that a section of the pool floor measuring about 3x3 feet is deteriorating, and the steps leading into the pool are also cracking. The City Council has discussed the issue at each of their monthly meetings since November, when the city received a quote from Pool Tech to resurface the pool for $140,000. So far, the council has not been able to find another company to submit a quote for the project.
