Agnes Arend, age 97, of Buffalo Center, formerly of Burt, died Saturday morning, September 16, 2017 at Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 21, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Bancroft with Father Steven J. McCloud officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Algona. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Bancroft.
