Wrestlers advance two to Districts

The Forest City Indians will send two wrestlers to the District wrestling meet in Clear Lake this Saturday, Feb. 9. Forest City’s Brock Moore (106) and Kristian Gunderson (145) both placed second at the Sectional meet held at Osage last Saturday, Feb. 2, to earn their places in the next round of the postseason.

The Indians placed fifth in the team standings at the meet. Osage took first with 217.5 points, followed by Hampton- Dumont 217, Clear Lake 203, Charles City 174.5, Forest City 110, and Garner-Hayfield/ Ventura 100.
