Track teams compete at Central Springs Early Bird

The North Iowa Bison and Lady Bison track teams took part in their first official meet of the season on Thursday, March 28, during the Central Spring Early Bird meet in Manly.

Highlights for North Iowa included a pair of first place finishes in field events, with Brenna Paulson winning the girls’ discus and Isaiah Walk winning the boys’ long jump.

“While the weather was cool and rainy early, it straightened out as the evening progressed, which allowed us to post some reasonable early season marks,” said North Iowa Head Coach Jon Potter.
