Thompson elections feature contested council race

Three candidates seek election to two seats on the Thompson City Council this fall, as Election Day is coming up next Tuesday, Nov. 7. Incumbent Troy Fleener is running for council alongside newcomers Scott Flo and Wayne Landheer. Councilman Fred Fiebelkorn is not seeking reelection.

Also up for election is the mayor’s seat, and Mayor Dan Swearingen is running unopposed.
