Speech groups earn highest honors

     Two speech groups from North Iowa High School are among the best in the state, as they were selected for the All-State large group speech festival held Saturday, Feb. 22 in Ames.

     The Group Improv team received Special Recognition as a non-performing group at the All-State festival, after receiving straight “I” ratings at the State large group competition held February 8 in Waterloo. Group members include Kayla Limberg, Lexis Julsrud-Wertjes, Caleb Ricke and Jon Wubben.

     The Short Film team of Kayla Limberg and Chance Mayland was selected as Outstanding Performers at All-State, after the duo also earned straight “I” ratings at State.
