Slow-pitch softball kicks off

     North Iowa Betterment’s summer slow-pitch softball season got underway Sunday, June 8, at Lion’s Park in Buffalo Center. Eight teams are participating this year, with games each Sunday through July 13. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch the games at Lion’s Park, with the first game each day starting at 4 p.m. and the last game getting underway at 7 p.m. The season will wrap up with a tournament on July 13.
