Seven compete at State Individual Speech

North Iowa High School sent seven students to the State Individual Speech contest in Forest City last Saturday, March 9, after they qualified during the District competition in Riceville on February 27.

Earning straight “I” ratings from all three judges at State include: Sierra Billick, After Dinner Speaking, “Steps to a Perfect First Date”; Samantha Davis, Prose, “The Yellow Shirt”; Joey Goetz for both Spontaneous Speaking and Improvisation; and Thomas Hughes, Acting, “Girls”.
