School kicks off Quasquicentennial celebrations

North Iowa Elementary got a jump start on this summer’s Quasquicentennial celebrations on Friday, May 12, as students took part in Quasquicentennial Day. Buffalo Center, Lakota and Thompson will all celebrate their 125th anniversaries this summer, and the school took the opportunity to teach the kids about the olden days and to provide them with some old-fashioned experiences.
