Ripple Effect grants will help Public Safety Center and future projects

The new $4.6 million Winnebago County Public Safety Center is nearing completion in Forest City, and the project got a financial boost last week. Winnebago Cooperative Telecom Association is the recipient of a $300,000 grant award from the USDA, which it is using to support the public safety center project and to create a revolving loan fund for future projects.
