Paulson wins silver at State

North Iowa junior Brenna Paulson is a silver medalist at State Track & Field, as she took second place in the discus last Friday in Des Moines. She led the field in Class 1A on Friday with her throw of 127’3” right up until the final round, where Kaitlyn Wilder of Dunkerton displaced Paulson for gold with a throw of 136’2”.

This was Paulson’s third trip to State as a qualifier in the discus, and she has continually improved each year, after placing ninth at State last season.
