Panthers and Indians defeat NI basketball teams

The North Iowa Bison and Lady Bison basketball teams traveled to Central Springs last Tuesday, Jan. 14, where both teams lost their matches with the Panthers. The varsity girls got shut out in the first quarter, as they lost their contest, 27-45.

Katelin Adams led the Lady Bison in scoring with 17 points, followed by Kenzy Jensvold with four and Danessa Bruner and Emma Duve with three points each. Adams and Leah Kramersmeier led in rebounds with four each. Adams made six steals, while Jensvold made four.

“We got off to a really poor start, getting down 0-11, but as the game went on, we tried to scratch our way back into it,” said Head Coach Matt Harriman.
