New WWB director works to provide resources

Winn-Worth Betco (WWB) gave the public a chance to meet the organization’s new Executive Director, Warren Wortham, during an open house at the WWB office in Lake Mills last Tuesday, Jan. 15.

Wortham started at WWB on November 26, 2018, and he says he’s been busy getting up to speed. He says there are a lot of things in the works right now, including new businesses and other opportunities for the area. He’s working to see where he can provide input and resources to bring projects to life.

Wortham says WWB works together with Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA) based in Minnesota to provide a lot of resources to the area. He says he might not always know what to do with one of those resources until he meets someone with a need for it, but then it all comes together.
