Moklestad wins third straight Market Steer title

     Megan Moklestad took the trophy for Grand Champion Market Steer for her third year in a row last week at the 2014 Winnebago County Fair. She won this year’s title with the same breed of animal as her last two titles, a Chianina/Maine Anjou-Cross. Megan took part in the show as a member of the Grant Gleaners 4-H Club, and she is also a member of the Bison FFA Chapter. Megan is the daughter of David and Nancy Moklestad of rural Thompson, and she will be a senior at North Iowa High School this fall.
