McGrady Painting brings 40 years of expertise to Buffalo Center

A well-established painting business in northern Iowa now calls Buffalo Center home. Chuck McGrady, owner of McGrady Painting, recently moved to Buffalo Center to be closer to family and to continue the business he has operated for more than 40 years.

McGrady started out on his painting career while serving in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1963, and he later took a job painting water towers while living in California for several years. He started his business, originally called McGrady Painting & Decorating, in 1973 in Rochester, MN, and he’s been serving northern Iowa and southern Minnesota ever since.

McGrady, who is originally from Clear Lake, has lived in Lake Mills since 1987. He and his wife, Jennifer, who manages Main Attractions in Lake Mills, moved to Buffalo Center just a few weeks ago in order to be closer to family.
