A Buffalo Center man faces potential jail time after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of Carrying Weapons and Assault.

Cody Adams was originally charged on April 27 with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, a Class D felony, along with two charges of Carrying Weapons, following an investigation by the Buffalo Center Police Department, Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office and Winnebago County Attorney’s Office.

During a plea hearing on October 18, Adams entered a guilty plea to Count 2, Carrying Weapons, and an amended Count 3, Assault. Count 1, the felony Intimidation charge, was dismissed.
