LeAnn Irene Torney, age 60, of Burt, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018, Her last days with loved ones were spent at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, following a brief struggle with liver cancer. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 13 at North Iowa Community School in Buffalo Center, with Rev. Walter Reemtsma officiating. Interment will be in Ramsey Cemetery in Titonka.
