Lady Bison end season at Newman

The North Iowa Lady Bison wrapped up their basketball season with two games last week, including a Regional tournament match. They opened the week with their final game of the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Northwood, where they lost 34-47 to the Vikings.

“A tough game for us, because on paper, it looked like we would have an advantage in many areas,” said North Iowa Head Coach Matt Harriman.

“We missed too many free throws throughout the game and had too many empty possessions. We kept going down 10-12 and then back to 5-6 and never going ahead. A good battle by our kids to try and get back into it, but we were a little short.”
