Lady Bison add pair of wins

     The North Iowa softball team improved its record last week with wins over West Hancock and Belmond-Klemme, while suffering a loss at the hands of Forest City.

     The Forest City game was up first on Monday, June 19, as the Lady Bison lost 15-2 in Buffalo Center. The Indians broke away late in the contest, where the scored five runs each in the sixth and seventh innings.

     Jenna Govern and Kenzie Bengtson each had two hits for North Iowa, and Jessica Govern and Cassidy Sachs both hit doubles for one RBI each. Sachs struck out two batters in the loss.
