Jutting joins Patton Funeral Home

Tracy Jutting of Buffalo Center is back in her familiar role as a funeral director, after taking a new job at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, MN. Jutting previously worked as a funeral director at Winter Funeral Home in Buffalo Center, starting in 2011, before taking a few years off from full-time funeral work.

Jutting earned her degree at Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL and she worked in Omaha, NE before moving back to her hometown of Buffalo Center in 2011. She has also worked part-time for Ewing Funeral Home in Britt.

She started her new job at Patton Funeral Home this August, and she is a licensed funeral director in both Iowa and Minnesota.

Jutting, who graduated from North Iowa High School in 1993, was originally planning to go into nursing school. She was working at Timely Mission Nursing Home when Kirk Winter from Winter Funeral Home came in one night. She got to talking to him about his job, and that piqued her interest in becoming a funeral director herself.
