Indians place fourth at Sectionals

     The Forest City Indians competed in the Class 2A Sectional 2 tournament in Clear Lake on Saturday, Feb. 3, where they took fourth place overall.

     Clear Lake won the tournament with 244 points, followed by Iowa Falls-Alden 218, Osage 201.5, Forest City 122, Roland-Story 108.5, and Garner-Hayfield/Ventura 83. Individual results for Forest City are as follows:

     106: Brock Moore (34-12) placed fourth and scored nine team points.

     113: Wyatt Gelhaus (19-22) placed fourth and scored nine team points.

     120: Kaleb Umbaugh (24-18) placed third and scored 14 team points. 

     126: William Kirschbaum (27-9) placed third and scored 12 team points. 

     132: Brett Walton (13-30) placed fifth and scored six team points. 

     145: Kristian Gunderson (25-23) placed third and scored 12 team points. 

     160: Dylan Jenkins (7-25) placed fifth and scored six team points. 

     170: Jacob Trunkhill (12-28) placed fifth and scored eight team points. 

     182: Tim Buck (6-17) placed third and scored 14 team points. 

     195: Gabe Staudt (21-21) placed fourth and scored nine team points. 

     220: Austin Kelso (13-27) placed third and scored 14 team points. 

     285: Evan Larson (17-19) placed fourth and scored nine team points.
