High school begins for Class of 2022

School is back in session at North Iowa, where high school classes began last Friday, Aug. 24. The day marked a special occasion for the NIHS Class of 2022, who began their very first day as high school freshmen. Five members of the freshman class, representing the four communities of the North Iowa School District, are pictured on the first day of school on Friday.

From left are: Emma Duve, daughter of Matt and Melissa Duve of Rake; Shayla Heetland, daughter of Bruce and Dawn Heetland of Lakota; Laura Wubben, daughter of Jodi and the late Les Wubben of Buffalo Center; Leah Kramersmeier, daughter of Brian and Jenny Kramersmeier of rural Buffalo Center; and Devin Kiel, son of Chad and Brenda Kiel of Thompson.

These same five students will be photographed once again in the spring of 2022, wearing their caps and gowns for graduation.
