Grand Opening at Rake Bar & Grill

     The Rake Bar & Grill opened Saturday afternoon with a ribbon cutting and a crowd of thirsty Rake area residents waiting to enter.

     Jessica Hidalgo and Diane Berryman (her mother) with Rake’s Mayor Louise Hagedorn cut the ribbon. The bar and grill was nearly filled with customers through the evening.

     Hidalgo plans to open the restaurant at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and to close at 10 p.m. weeknights and 11 p.m. or possibly later on weekend nights.

     The two families have spent untold hours cleaning the establishment and, as Hidalgo says, “making it ours.”
