Graduates receive nearly $60,000 in scholarships

Many graduating members of the North Iowa High School Class of 2019 have a head start on paying for their future education, as graduates received nearly $60,000 in scholarships this year.

Numerous memorial scholarships were announced during the Commencement ceremony held Sunday, May 19 at the school, including recipients of the Ben Sloter Memorial Scholarships. Those receiving scholarships at Commencement include:

Sadie Zittritsch – W.D. Ley Memorial Scholarship, Berschman Memorial Scholarship, Verdene Anderson Memorial Scholarship.

Isaiah Walk – W.D. Ley Memorial Scholarship, Skogen- Hagenson Scholarship. April Soost – NIHS Memorial Scholarship, Mike Moening Memorial Scholarship.
