Gale Newton died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center at the age of 88. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 26, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, with Pastor Deb Devine officiating. Inurnment was in Sunnyside Memory Gardens in Charles City.
