Fair names new Lil Miss

     The 2016 Lil Miss at the Winnebago County Fair is Jemma Boyer, the 6-year-old daughter of Matt and Rebekah Boyer of Forest City. She was one of five girls competing for the title this year, during the Lil Miss Contest held Thursday, July 21 at the fairgrounds in Thompson.

     Others competing this year included Culleah Moffett, the 8-year-old daughter of Dustin and Sara Moffett of Thompson. She received the title of Miss Personality. Morgan Christ, the 8-year-old daughter of Michael and Jennifer Christ of Buffalo Center received the title of Best Hair.

     Emily Aukes, the 7-year-old daughter of Ranae Aukes of Forest City received the title of Most Creative, and Stella Lackore, the 8-year-old daughter of Adam and Darcy Lackore of Leland received the title of Miss Manners.

     Helping to crown the new Lil Miss during Thursday’s pageant was 2015 Lil Miss Claire Levine.
