Fair fundraiser draws large crowd

     The annual Winnebago County Fair fundraiser dinner brought in more than $10,000 last Saturday evening, April 11, at the Branding Iron in Thompson. This is the sixth year that the fundraiser dinner has been held, which brings in money to pay for the entertainment acts at the fair. This year’s entertainment includes the return of the Lumberjack Show, Six Appeal a cappella group, Impact Pro Wrestling, Circle C rodeo, a concert by Whiskey Stone, and a demolition derby and ATV mud bog. The fair is scheduled for July 16-19.
