Daffodil Days fundraiser kicks off

     The annual Daffodil Days fundraiser for the American Cancer Society is now underway, and the National Honor Society students at North Iowa High School will be contacting local residents for their daffodil orders.

     Bunches of 10 daffodils are on sale for $10, and proceeds go toward the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Winnebago County. People can place their orders through the high school volunteers or by contacting Betsy Goetz at 562-2500, Eleanor Murray at 562-2337 or Julie Olson at 584-2275. Checks should be made payable to Winnebago County Daffodils.

     This year, Thrivent is helping to support the local project with a financial contribution to purchase the daffodils.

     Orders must be placed by February 29, and the daffodils will be available for pick up on March 18.
