Cross country teams do well at West Fork

The North Iowa cross country teams competed at the West Fork Invitational on Monday, Sept. 21. Ten schools fielded runners, with the Lady Bison squad finishing fourth with 94 points. The boys’ squad was incomplete.

Top finishes for North Iowa included Sam Hassebroek and Kam Rohwedder taking fourth and fifth place, respectively, in the boys’ race to earn medals. Brooke Hovland led the varsity girls with an eighth place finish to medal, and Megan Mitthun medaled in the junior high girls’ race with her sixth place finish.
