Council approves free swim day for Quasqui

Several pool-related topics were the focus of discussion at last Wednesday’s Buffalo Center City Council meeting. The Buffalo Center Quasquicentennial Committee requested that the council allow people to swim for free at the swimming pool during the celebration on July 1-2. The council voted to have free swimming on Sunday only, July 2.

The council hired staff for the pool, as recommended by Pool Manager Sarah Paulson. Assistant manager will be Jessica Wubben, and lifeguards include Cassidy Sachs, Noah Paulson, Jordan Ostrander and Natalie Sachs. Pool consultant will be Kim Ostermann.
