Corporon and Yegge receive All-Conference honors

     Two North Iowa Bison are being recognized by the coaches of the North Iowa Conference for their contributions during the 2013-14 basketball season. Senior Tate Corporon has been named to the Second Team All-Conference, and senior Derek Yegge received Honorable Mention.

     Corporon led the Bison in scoring this season with 321 points for an average of 14.6 per game and a field goal success rate of 46.2%. He was second in the conference for rebounds, as he led the Bison 215 total and an average of 9.8 per game. Corporon was the conference leader in blocks with 65 during conference matches and 104 overall. He also led North Iowa in steals with 28.

     Yegge was the number three scorer for the Bison this season with 166 points for an average of 7.9 per game and a field goal percentage of 43.6%. He led the teams in three-pointers with 23. Yegge also had 27 steals for the Bison and 44 assists.
