Community Chapel bids farewell to Pastor Ron Wheeler

     Community Chapel in Lakota will hold a farewell service on Sunday, Aug. 24 for Pastor Ron Wheeler and his wife, Mary Jane. Pastor Ron is retiring after 24 years at Community Chapel, and the congregation and the community at large are invited to attend the 6 p.m. service.

     Pastor Ron has been in the ministry for more than 40 years. A native of Chippewa Falls, WI, he and his wife both attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. After graduating with a major in Bible Theology in 1974, he served churches in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota before coming to Community Chapel in August of 1990.
