Celebration time in Lakota

     The weather cleared up in time for the opening ceremonies of the Lakota Quasquicentennial last Friday evening, as a crowd gathered downtown to kick off the community’s 125th birthday celebration. The ceremony featured the ringing of the old fire bell, music by hometown girl Morgan Kahler and a welcome by city council member Royce Janssen.
