Buffalo Center wins first responders contest

The Buffalo Center first responder groups are the January winners of the “Thank You First Responders” contest sponsored by Star 106.1, KLSS in Mason City. The Radio station invites listeners to vote online for their choice of area first responder organizations, and Buffalo Center won the latest contest with approximately 5,900 votes. The prize was a free meal from Z’Mariks in Mason City, and the B.C. fire department invited the ambulance crew and the police department to join them for the meal at the fire station.
